The Chronicles of Death

I grew up in South Lake Tahoe, California, and now call San Diego home after exploring the world. I had a difficult childhood and was adopted at 14 by an incredible family. In June 2022, I lost my adoptive father, Scott Miller, to liver cancer. I moved in to help my mum settle, and we all began to wrestle with a painful question: “Why, Dad? Why didn’t death take someone else who deserved it?”

This search for meaning led me to The Chronicles of Death. A historical‑fiction series that helped me process my grief, honor my childhood, six siblings, and life philosophy. As a member of a minority and the LGBTQIA+ community, I aim to create stories that shine a light on disenfranchised people and advocate for human rights.
